Established in 2018, Peculiar Passions FX is a professional and high-quality makeup and FX team that creates an environment of fun, love, and acceptance. We offer a variety of services including on-location & in-studio makeup, character design, character creation, & art direction. We work every day to be better allies to our community members and to learn more about those around us. We aim to be a safe place for all to be themselves and create freely.

Hi! My name is Kim!
I am a creative who got into Special Effects makeup in 2018 and have been working at my craft moving into more fields as I continue to grow and learn more about myself.
I am a multifaced artist and entrepreneur looking to expand my horizons. I am mostly self taught but have taken online courses for Special Effects where I learned many amazing techniques.
My goal is to create as much as possible, inspire, and have fun doing it. I'm excited to bring more of my creation to life and am grateful to have you be apart of my journey.

Hi my name is Hannah! I moved from Colorado to Washington in 2018 where I completed my bachelor's in film. I am now working on my Masters of Science in Entrepreneurship at the University of Washington. I am a filmmaker, entrepreneur, and creative logistics specialist building a network of change.
